Selected work

Work I’ve led. Products I’ve shipped.

A selection of professional work and products I’ve built through Not Today Studios, with a focus on my contribution and what reached delivery.

Building quality across global brand websites

Total Onion · Client: Pernod Ricard · Head of QA

The scope. I led a team of five supporting 20+ global brand websites, where regression testing was entirely manual.

What I changed. I built a configurable Playwright and TypeScript framework, integrated regression testing into CI/CD and moved QA two sprints ahead of client UAT. I also standardised tickets and test plans so development and QA had a shared view of the work.

The result. Automated regression became part of delivery, and the team identified 50+ defects before client validation. Alongside that change, I mentored an intern from no QA experience to Junior QA Engineer.

Unifying Quality Engineering for UKTV Play

BBC Studios / UKTV Play · Head of QA

The scope. Quality Engineering across web, mobile and connected TV for a streaming platform serving 1.5 million active users.

What I changed. I brought two siloed teams into one function, with dedicated platform leads and a Junior-to-Lead progression framework. I introduced automation, including physical connected-TV testing with Suitest.

The result. The function had clear platform ownership and development paths, with quality planning built into roadmap and release discussions with Product and Engineering leadership. I also created a consumer feedback channel so user-reported device issues could inform releases.
